Build a Biz Kids Launches New Adopt a School Program For British Columbia

Port Moody, BC – Build a Biz Kids is pleased to announce the launch of their Adopt a School Program in British Columbia that provides advanced tools, support and programming to educators supporting youth ages 7-13, with a specific focus on vulnerable populations.

“We believe that every child deserves the chance at a successful, happy and fulfilling future. By partnering with local businesses and organizations to ‘Adopt a School’, we can provide free future-ready programming, tools, and support to educators who work directly with vulnerable youth in our communities, such as in public schools, public libraries, community centres and other local non-profit organizations.” says Leah Coss, President & Co-Founder of Build a Biz Kids.

Every school adopted gains access to progressive programs on topics, such as, kid entrepreneurship, public speaking, digital and financial literacy, innovation, and much more. Each are equipped with programming focused on developing 70+ soft skills, technical skills, confidence, coping skills, family bonding activities and final projects that are showcased at Youth Community Impact Events.

Build a Biz Kids is seeking donors and community partners who would like to ‘Adopt a School.’ This donor program is unique as it allows donors to choose where their money is going and see it’s impact on a local level.

Schools and community partners adopted before June 15th, 2023 will run programs between September 2023 to June 2024, with the first Youth Community Impact Event taking place in the Tri-Cities July/August 2024.

Students from multiple regions who normally would not have had access to Future-Ready Programs will now have support directly in their communities through their schools, libraries, and community centres.
