Each selected youth will star in their own short educational video that will be featured in BizKids’ nationwide programming.
We’re thrilled to announce that BizKids has been selected as the featured charity for the Vancouver Giants on September 26th! This is your chance to enjoy an exciting Major Junior Hockey game while directly supporting kids in building future-ready skills, confidence, and resilience.
By attending, you’ll help us unlock half of the 50/50 draw, which goes directly to supporting BizKids Communities across BC – and soon, all of Canada. But to qualify for this benefit, we need your help: we must sell 300 tickets to the game. That’s where you come in!
On July 26th, the halls of The City of Lougheed Mall were buzzing with more than just shoppers. Over 9,300 community members stopped by to experience something truly unique: kids running their very own businesses.
From the outside, it may have looked like a fun marketplace filled with creative products and young entrepreneurs. But for the children behind the booths, it was so much more.
The BizKids Summer Market 2025 Was a Massive Success
On Saturday, July 26, The City of Lougheed Mall in Burnaby transformed into a vibrant hub of creativity, entrepreneurship, and community connection — and we’re still buzzing from it.
If you’re a nonprofit organization, library, or community group offering BizKids programs to the general public, you’ve likely faced a frustrating challenge: students register, but then they don’t show up. Or they attend once or twice and then disappear.

Build a Biz Kids is honoured to share that we have received funding from the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation to launch a powerful new initiative focused on inclusivity, representation, and Indigenous youth empowerment.

Travis McLaren, a Certified Home Inspector and owner of Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections based in BC, is using his everyday work to create extraordinary impact. With every home inspection he completes, Travis is pledging to donate $5 to Build a Biz Kids—a gesture that, over time, is helping hundreds of kids across Canada gain access to future-ready education.
