Build a Biz Kids is a registered non profit society who teach kids, ages 7-12 yrs, entrepreneurship. We aim to develop and practice essential soft skills that are so critical to the world we live in today. Volunteering with us will give you the opportunity to become our Brand Ambassador, mentor students and guide them through the world of KidPreneurship!

Volunteer Opportunties

Throughout 2020, we will have numerous opportunties that we would love to invite enthusiastic volunteers to join us. We have roles great for Business Professionals, Teachers, Retired Individuals, Grade 11 & 12 students, College Students and everyone in between looking to contribute your time, energy and passion for kids. 

Current Openings

Spring KidPreneur Launchpad Programs 

We are seeking volunteers all across the lower mainland to be an Assistant Facilitator for our upcoming Spring Programs. 

• Requirements:
  • Commitment – Able to commit to a couple hours a week for 10 weeks (a complete program)
  • Criminal Record Check Working with Youth – Currently have or able to get this from your local police department
  • Coachable – Able to attend a training session on Growth Mindset Language and an overview of the curriculum
  • Abilities – Love watching kids brains grow before your eyes, patience, enthusiasm, and a great teammate for the Lead Facilitator

Summer Camp Assistant Volunteers

We are seeking volunteers all across the lower mainland to be an Assistant Facilitator for our upcoming Summer Camps in July & August. 

• Requirements:
  • Commitment – Able to commit to an entire 5 day camp, 9am – 3pm
  • Criminal Record Check Working with Youth – Currently have or able to get this from your local police department
  • Coachable – Able to attend a training session on Growth Mindset Language and an overview of the curriculum
  • Abilities – Love watching kids brains grow before your eyes, patience, enthusiasm, and a great teammate for the Lead Facilitator

Brand Ambassadors, Events 

We have events throughout the year that we would LOVE extra hands and passion behind. From our Kids Market Days ot local community events, we are excited to have a trusted team working with us to help share with other families and inspire more kids. 

Assistance planning and organizing events, help for set up & take down, promotion & support during the events and more! Are you who we are looking for?

  • Commitment – We appreciate any extra time and pasison you are able to give. We only ask that you commit to any activities you have chosen to take on through to completion.
