We're excited to announce a new opportunity focused on expanding access to entrepreneurship education for Indigenous youth.
Entrepreneurship is about more than building a business—it's about helping youth discover what's possible.
When children are given the opportunity to explore ideas, solve problems, and create something of their own, they begin to discover what's possible. They gain the confidence to share their ideas, develop leadership skills by taking initiative, and build practical skills that support them wherever life takes them
Those are the kinds of opportunities this grant is designed to help make more accessible.
Through this new grant opportunity, eligible Indigenous communities and organizations can apply to receive access to the Indigenous youth entrepreneurship program. Created to be flexible and obtainable, the program can be delivered in schools, community programs, youth initiatives, one-on-one, in group settings, or independently, making it easy to complement existing programming or be used on its own.
Why This Opportunity Matters
Every youth deserves the opportunity to explore their potential.
Our hope is that this grant helps make entrepreneurship education more accessible in ways that are practical, adaptable, and meaningful for Indigenous youth and the communities and organizations that support them. Through hands-on experiences, youth can explore creativity, leadership, financial literacy, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking in ways that build both confidence and capability.
At its heart, this opportunity is about creating more room for young people to explore their potential, trust their ideas, and develop skills that can support them in many different paths - in education, in work, and in bringing their own ideas to life.
