BizKids Donor Partners & Collaborations

A BIG Thank You to Our Donors & Community Partners For Their Incredible Contributions

Donor Partners

Innovators of the Future

We cannot say enough about United Way and the Government of Canada and how they stepped in to support Build a Biz Kids, and so many other charities, during the COVID-19 crisis. Through the generous support of the Government of Canada’s Community Services Recovery Fund, Build a Biz Kids has been able to focus on creating sustainability for our charity while expanding the impact of BizKids Programs across Canada.

Legacy Builders

Discovery Foundation’s partnership with BizKids has been integral to bringing digital literacy skills to hundreds of youth across BC. Through the Discovery Foundations Future Leaders Initiative, Children were able to engage in real world projects launching online courses, building e-commerce businesses and taking their first entrepreneurial leaps into business start up.

Champions for Youth

Telus Friendly Future Foundation is helping BizKids to bring greater equity and accessibility to Indigenous Youth Across Canada. In addition to providing access to future-ready education to 80 Indigenous Youth living in remote communities, they are providing the resources to be able to elevate the flag/ship Launch Your Business KidPreneur program with an Indigenous Lens.

In Partnership with Bears’ Lair Dream Camps, a new KidPreneur Program is being developing by Indigenous Youth for Indigenous Youth, because representation and cultural focused programming matters. Without it, youth are unable to connect as deeply with the content and miss out on that feeling of, if they can do it, so can I, effect that so many of us take for granted.

Changemakers ($5k-$19k)

These organizations are all about community impact that can last a lifetime. Our Community Changemakers are supporting entire classrooms of students from vulnerable communities participate in critical Human Skill Development. Other activities these organizations provide are the development of new curriculum and tools to be used by educators across Canada and the world, and supporting our incredible local community events.

Whether it is helping us supply children & families with computers to reduce the Digital Divide, adopting a school, or helping to support more kids by subsidizing their tuition costs, these Youth Advocates are making a real difference in the lives of families.
